OCCUPATIONAL WELFARE: PROTECTION OF SOCIAL RISKS AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN POST-COVID ERA

In post-Covid era, suitable and strategic Human Resources Management will contribute to organizations’ emotional and social well-being. It will be especially significant the leading of Occupational Welfare, that embraces an extensive catalogue of coverage that is provided by employers to deal with different social risks. This is a support to welfare system throw an alliance between public and private actors and, therefore, it is also a social responsibility of the companies with direct implications on different Sustainable Development Goals. In this paper, four different types of services and programmes related to occupational welfare have been established -social protection; work-life balance; health and occupational safety; human development and training-, offering an abstract of European Community regulations, national regulations, management guides for corporate sustainability reports and their relationship with seven SDG (1,3,4,5,8,10 y 17).
